About Us

Chris Clugh          E-mail me!
Chris Clugh is the front man of Next 2 Nothing. While he started as a drummer (and continues to be great at it), he has grown to be a great singer, guitarplayer and songwriter. His voice and heart are key ingredients to the Next 2 Nothing sound.

Chris and his wife Andrea have been married since 1998 and have three young sons, Zayin Elijah, Will Taylor and Jackson David.

Chris is a graduate of the Shippensburg Area School District. He then attended Huntington University (formerly Huntington College) in Huntington, IN and graduated with a BS in Youth Ministry.

Chris served as the full time youth pastor and worship leader at the Mt. Rock Brethren in Christ Church for 15 years.  Currently he serves on staff at Chambersburg First Church of God as the Worship and Arts Director, leading the congregation in worship each Sunday.

In addition to leading people in worship, he enjoys golf, playing music, hiking, and spending time with his boys.

Brodie Hutchins          E-mail me!

Brodie Hutchins covers the guitars and backing vocals of Next 2 Nothing. He is also responsible for writing or co-writing many of the Next 2 Nothing songs. His guitar work is an integral part of the Next 2 Nothing sound.

Brodie has been married to Pamela since 1995. “She’s the icing in my Oreo!” They have three children Vivienne, Alex and Max and reside in Franklin, TN.

Brodie is a graduate of Shippensburg Area High School, holds a BA degree from Messiah College in Commercial Art and an MBA from Frostburg State University.

He is a Vice President at Wirtgen America, Inc. "I'm still trying to figure out how an Eric Clapton wannabe ended up as a business geek!"

Brodie has been infatuated with the guitar since birth and had a ukulele as his primary toy until beginning to play seriously. He has played with several bands over the past 25+ years including several pick-up bands during the Messiah College days; M.A.S. (Mutual Admiration Society) and 3 Days Journey.

When Brodie is not working or playing with Next 2 Nothing he can be found playing for other artists, recording, writing songs, collecting guitars, drinking coffee, riding Harleys and spending time with his family.

Cam McAulay          E-mail me!

Cam is a professional guitar and bass player, based out of Nashville, TN.  Growing up in Mt. Gilead,NC, Cam started playing music in church at seven years old, quickly developing a taste for Hendrix and Clapton.
Soon after, Cam also picked up the bass alongside his guitar playing.

He has since moved to the Nashville area to attend Middle Tennessee State University as a commercial
songwriting major.  Now residing with his ife Whitney in Franklin, TN, Cam works as a live and studio musician, playing both bass and guitar.  Relocating to the Nashville area has been a good opportunity for Cam to “rediscover” his love of the bass guitar and put a fresh spin on his approach.

Cam is a member of Christ Community Church in Franklin, TN and is a part of their worship team.  He can usually be found playing bass with country pick up bands around the Nashville area.
Heath Chap Ferrell          E-mail me!

Heath Chap Ferrell, a.k.a. "Chap" propels the rhythmic bus for Next 2 Nothing.  And "yes," Chap is his real middle name.

Heath has been married to his wife Lorraine for 16 years.  They have two daughters Jacqueline (14) and Lauren (8) and they share their home with the family dog, Milo.

After graduating from the Shippensburg Area Senior High School, Heath landed at the Giant Distribution Center in Carlisle, PA.  He is the Receiving Supervisor and is "thrilled to have the opportunity to interact with and serve the needs of many great people."

Heath has been mesmerized by music since his early childhood.  "My Grandfather played bass, piano, mandolin, you name it.  That's where it all started for me.  I gravitated to the drums in middle school and learned to play by playing along with the songs on the radio."

Heath served on the worship team at Greenspring Brethren In Christ Church for 9 years.  During that time, he gave his life to the Lord and learned the power of music.  "Music is such a powerful vehicle and there is nothing greater than conveying the love and grace that God has for us through music.  I am thrilled and humbled to contribute in my own small way to music ministry.  Playing drums is cool but playing drums for God is AWESOME!"

"If you see me at a show, please come say hello.  I would like to meet as many of you as I can!"
Dan Laws          E-mail me!

Dan is the man who enjoys "tickling the ivories" and offering background vocals.  Unbeknownst to the other N2N band members, he occasionally pulls out a cowbell and plays...whenever he gets the fever!

Dan has been married to Bekah for 11 years, (a powerhouse soloist, herself), and enjoys spending time with his son, Nathaniel (an artist, musician, and self-proclaimed superhero).  Together they share a home with 4 other furry creatures...spiders...and occasional stinkbugs.  Dan and Bekah have helped lead worship for over a decade in the Contemporary service at King Street Church in Chambersburg, PA.  Dan, Bekah, and Chris played and sung together for several years in the band The Way.

Dan works full-time for Franklin County Mental Health services as an Intensive Case Manager for adults.  He also spends a couple evenings a week working for the Franklin County Library Systems.  He has enjoyed his transitions between working in social services and education throughout his professional career.

A Chambersburg Area Sr. High School graduate, he was classically trained at Liberty University, where he earned his degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education, (with a Minor in Psych and Concentration in Piano).  He is blessed to have Christian parents who were actively involved in music and ministry, playing an vital role in his musical and spiritual rearing.  Dan's first onstage performance was actually while he was still in the womb: while his (very pregnant) mother was singing a solo at church, Dan kicked the music from her hands.  His mother has yet to recover from this experience...

Dan enjoys spending time with his family.  He particularly enjoys goofing off, making up songs, and rapping with his son.  His other hobbies include reading, playing video games, and watching quality entertainment.

Dan truly enjoys offering his musical gifts back to his Lord and Savior, and feels blessed just being a part of this team!

The ministry of Next 2 Nothing is a team effort and there are several people working behind the scenes. Shelly Boggs is the Prayer Leader of the band. She prays for each of us, speaks into our lives and manages the N2N Prayer Team. What an amazing woman of God! Charles Schussler is the Sound Engineer for the band and of course our wives play a huge part with the support and love they give us.
